Women’s Lacrosse
Aside from the 2022 Canada Summer Games teams, where Lacrosse PEI was very proud to send a male and female team separately to participate and compete, the majority of our programs on the Island are run as Co-ed activities. However, we are hopeful that this will change as more females try the game and get involved.
To this point, LPEI was proud to celebrate that nine of our female athletes travelled to the US Winter Box Nationals in Arizona from February 2 - February 6, 2023 to participate in the Girls High School Elite division, teaming up with female athletes from Lacrosse New Brunswick to put the group together.
We are currently working towards a Summer 2026 Female Field Lacrosse program. Stay tuned for more!
